How to Mint an NFT on the Robinhood Chain
Learn how to mint an NFT on the Robinhood Chain with HoodMarket — how mint phases, whitelists, and pricing work, and how to complete your first mint.
What “minting” means
Minting is the act of creating a brand-new NFT on-chain and assigning it to your wallet. Unlike buying on the secondary market, a mint produces a token that did not exist before. On the Robinhood Chain, minting is fast and cheap, and every minted NFT follows the ERC-721 standard.
Understanding mint phases
Most launches on HoodMarket’s launchpad run in phases. A collection might open with a whitelist phase, then a public phase. Each phase can have its own:
- Start time — with a live countdown on the collection page.
- Price — the active phase’s price is what you pay.
- Per-wallet limit and a per-phase supply cap.
- Whitelist — if enabled, only approved wallets can mint that phase.
Whitelist vs public — am I eligible?
If a phase is whitelisted, the collection page shows an ELIGIBLE or NOT ELIGIBLE badge for your connected wallet. Public phases are open to everyone. You never need to guess — the mint panel tells you exactly what you can do right now.
Minting step by step
- Connect your wallet and switch to the Robinhood Chain.
- Open a live collection and check the active phase, price, and eligibility.
- Choose a quantity and click Mint.
- Confirm the transaction in your wallet and wait for it to finalize.
- Your new NFTs appear in a reveal, and on your profile once indexed.
After you mint
Once a collection is fully minted (or the creator opens trading), you can list your NFT for sale or make offers on others. Learn how in our buying and selling guide.
